The talented Rev. Kennedy Hampton
As we work to put the finishing touches on the revamped website for the Conference of Churches, our web designer suggested we get a photo of Rev. Kennedy Hampton behind a lecturn looking like the Community Chaplain that he is. Much to our (pleasant) surprise, ee got a little more than we bargained for when Rev. Hampton walked over the the piano and started to play the blues! :)

Creating your own Podcast - With Carol Vassar-Pettit and Erik Anderson
Yes, it's a postcast about a podcast. In fact, it's a podcast about our Feb. 23rd Podcasting Basics seminar, the first in a five-part Social Media Certificate Series that the Conference of Churches is holding between Feb. 23 and June 7.
Podcasting Basics (both this podcast and the training session) is hosted by our own Carol Vassar-Pettit, CauseCommunitions Manager and Executive Producer of our "Rich Answers" and "Living Well Connecticut" radio programs, and Greater Hartford's foremost faith-based social media guru, the Rev. Erik Anderson, Minister of Technology and Communication for The Connecticut Conference of The United Church of Christ.
Podcasting Basics is an all-day seminar (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and is aimed at faith-based and non-profit based organizations, but all wising to learn this simple craft are invited to attend. Cost is $99/person.
